Contrarian watch: one-sided crowd
Markets where the network leans heavily one way. Contrarian here means betting against the network, not a signal a trader posted. A list, not a trade call.

What the terms mean
- Bull % / Bear %
- Share of the weighted open positions that are long / short.
- Net bias
- Long share minus short share, from -1 (all short) to +1 (all long).
- Bias
- The label: 65%+ long = strongly bullish, 55-65% = bullish, the same for bearish, otherwise neutral.
- Confidence
- 50% agreement + 30% participation + 20% sample. Agreement: how far from 50/50 (0 at an even split, full when everyone is on one side). Participation: traders holding a position divided by half the qualifying traders (capped at full). Sample: traders divided by 5 (capped at full).
- Analysts
- Ranked traders with an open position on the market.
- Discarded
- Traders from the top-20 list left out: the bottom 20%, and anyone scoring under 15.
- Rank
- Leaderboard position. A position counts 21 minus rank (rank 1 counts 20).
- Dir
- The trader's net direction on this market (long, short or neutral).
- Conviction
- How one-sided that trader's own positions are: |long - short| / total, 0 to 1.
- R weight
- That trader's total weight here: rank weight x declared size in R (0.1-10R, 1R if none) x win-chance factor (1-2x, only if they declared above 50%).
- Custom ×
- Your own multiplier for a trader (0 = ignore, 1 = default, up to 3). It changes only your view.
- Trending
- Markets with the most active signals; momentum = share of them posted in the last 24 hours.
- Contrarian
- Taking the other side of the network. The contrarian list shows markets where net bias (long % minus short %) is 0.7 or more either way, i.e. about 85% or more of the weight on one side. It is not a signal anyone posted. One-sided crowds can reverse; this is a list, not a trade call.
